Distance Learning PTTLS/CTTLS
We recognise that it can often be difficult for candidates to be released from their places of work. Learners also incur the financial burdens of travel, hotel and other subsidiary requirements.
To that end STS Events can now offer a unique distance learning version of our highly sought after City and Guilds 7303 PTLLS and 7304 CTTLS courses, this may be a more convenient option for many people. The quality of the distant learning course is second to none and learners can still choose their appropriate level of study, be it either Level 3 or Level 4

- Access to Ongoing Tutor Support
The cost for the 7303 PTLLS distant learning course is £472.91 per person. This includes the distance learning pack (inclusive of above) and access to ongoing tutor support inclusive of VAT. We also offer a flexible monthly payment plan; further information on request. In addition, each candidate will require to be observed delivering a micro-teach session covering a 30 minute period/session.
To satisfy this last requirement, candidates can either:
(1) Deliver at our training centres in Driffield or Glasgow
OR
(2) We can also undertake the teaching observations at your own premises; however travel expenses will be incurred @ 0.40p per mile.
The cost for the 7304 CTLLS distant learning course is £855 inclusive of 2 tutor visits, course material, VAT and certification. This price does not take into consideration any additional tutor visits, charged at £90 and any travel costs incurred. Course Title : Combined Teacher / Assessor Awards. PTTLS & A1 assessor award
Price : £950, all inclusive of course materials, certification and VAT. We also offer a flexible monthly payment plan; further information on request.
Description : QCF Qualifications: The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and the Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS).
These qualifications are suitable for individuals who:
- wish to change career paths or
- are seeking career progression within their area of work or
- wish to gain employment within Further Education, Colleges and Private Training Providers
- will be/are seeking to progress towards the Level 4 in Internal Quality Assurance in Assessment
- Processes and Practice (IV) status and Associate Teacher Learning and Skills (ATLS) Status.
Course duration: Two weeks distance learning to cover the PTLLS elements and a 5 day classroom based course covering the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
